Live Q&A

OAK EVENTS live Q&A module enables attendees to ask questions during a session via smartphone, without a physical microphone. Questions are upvoted by the audience, moderated, and shown to the speaker in order of relevance.

What it does

• Questions from app or web: attendee opens the app or scans a QR and writes (max 280 chars)
• Public upvoting: questions visible to other attendees, who vote the most interesting
• Optional moderation: moderator dashboard to approve/reject off-topic or aggressive questions
• Speaker display: dedicated speaker screen or projected in-room with top questions
• Optional anonymous questions: for sensitive topics (HR, governance, etc.)
• Hybrid two-way Q&A: remote questions appear alongside in-room audience questions

Typical use cases

• Corporate townhalls: employees ask questions to CEO, voted by colleagues (the most awkward emerge democratically)
• Keynote with external expert: audience asks questions after the talk, sorted by upvotes
• Training sessions: technical questions collected and addressed at end of module
• Panel discussion: moderator uses top audience questions to drive the panel
